Shree Ganiga Educational and Charitable Trust (SGECT) is a registered non-profit organization (Regd No: GAN-4-00284-2017-18) dedicated to the mission of "Educating and Empowering for a Better Tomorrow." Established with a heart for Social service, we serve as a beacon of hope for the underprivileged by providing access to quality education, professional skill training, and social support.

Based in Bengaluru, SGECT operates at the intersection of education and social welfare, ensuring that financial constraints never stand in the way of a student’s dreams.

Our Mission

Educational Support: To provide scholarships, free books, and coaching to deserving students.
Skill Empowerment: To bridge the employment gap through vocational training at the Jnana Jyothi Skill Development Centre.
Social Welfare: To foster health and wellness through initiatives like the Jnana Jyothi Yoga Study Centre.
Gender Equality: To empower women and girls through specialized CSR initiatives and job-oriented courses.

What We Do

1. Educational Initiatives

We believe education is the most powerful tool for change. Our programs include:

Scholarships & Tuition Reimbursement: Financial aid for economically challenged families.
Competitive Exam Coaching: Free training for aspirants of IAS, KAS, and other government examinations.
Learning Resources: Regular distribution of free books and study materials to students in need.

2. Jnana Jyothi Skill Development Centre (SGECT Academy)

Launched to tackle unemployment, our academy provides government-certified, short-term courses designed to make students "job-ready." Our offerings include:

Computer Basics & Advance Courses
Beautician Training (Basic & Advance)
Tailoring & Fashion Design
Career Counseling & Awareness Programs

3. Wellness & Culture

Through the Jnana Jyothi Yoga Study Centre (affiliated with Karnataka Samskrit University), we promote holistic health. We offer Certificate, Diploma, and PG Diploma courses in Yoga to help build a healthier community.

Our Impact

Since our inception in 2017, SGECT has been a catalyst for change. From implementing CSR grants that have trained over 70 women in a single cycle to honoring meritorious students who excel against the odds, our work is defined by the lives we touch.
